Eva Davis, Director at the Canton Public Library, is leading the process to select and plan excellent programs for Michigan Library Association’s 119th Annual Conference at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, in Traverse City, Nov. 9 – 12, 2010.
This month a jury of MLA members will review and select conference programs that will creatively take on the challenges that face library staff and advocates in Michigan. This careful evaluation and selection process results in the highest quality programming to help spark new ideas or collaborative efforts and inspire greatness.
The time and money to attend the annual conference is a worthy investment especially in this tough economy. Good training is an essential survival tool for staff and advocates to face the daunting changes happening here and now. Plan to make the investment in yourself and your library. Remember, some conference scholarships are available for those who need assistance.
Registration will begin May 18 with an early bird deadline of July 30, 2010.
Our Conference would not be possible without the strategic partnerships with vendors and other allies. Sponsorship, Exhibit and Advertising packages are now available, and we rely on the greater library community to support our library association’s premier educational and networking event. Our sincere thanks to these sponsors who have already signed on:
